This Imported Hiking/Walking Staff is made of sustainably grown Solid Ash Wood.
The ash wood harvested for this hiking/walking staff comes from a woodland in Somerset, England which has been awarded the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) accreditation. FSC accredited certification means that the forest of origin has been independently inspected and evaluated according to strict environmental, social, and economic principles and criteria. Ash wood is an elegant pale gray. The natural bark finish has been buffed to a brilliant gray sheen. The top of the staff has a natural fork for easy gripping, hence the name "thumbstick."
