This is an exceptional English Seat Cane. It is traditionally used to watch polo and cricket matches, but it is perfect for watching golf and other sporting events where the spectator moves to follow the action.
Genuine pigskin covers the crook handle. The crook handle opens to make an oval seat as illustrated in the photos above.
The ground plate, which folds up when not in use, prevents the cane from sinking into the grass; the cane is equally useful for hard surfaces.
