I purchased this cane some time ago as what I would call a 'Dress Cane' one that you use for going to church or those events that call for nice clothes. It is a beautiful cane. One more thing I need to add. When Cane Mart says a cane is extra long they are not kidding. This was the longest cane I have ever seen and even though I am a tall guy I wound up having to cut it down. This was a pleasant surprise to me because in my lifetime I have seen many products that were advertised as extra long or extra tall only to find out that they were really designed for someone of average height or average weight. When they claim extra tall or extra long they can get by with charging more money. Nowdays more people are tall and heavy too so companies cannot afford to lose what is turning out to be a significant portion of the populace. Enough of the history lesson. This is a great cane and you will not go wrong by purchasing it.
