This cane has a smooth Blue Derby Handle in acrylic. The Derby is the most popular handle shape among the British. Invented by Lord Derby, it can be hooked over the arm when not in use, is extremely comfortable to hold, and has an elegant appearance with more flourish than a crook or fritz handle. The shaft is made of solid Beech Wood. Beech Wood is known to be close and even in texture, hard, fairly strong, and durable. This elegant cane has a metal collar accent with an ebony-stained shaft, which has been lacquered with a clear coat to protect the wood. The maximum length is 36", but it can be cut to size. It is supplied with a Rubber Tip. The smart look of the blue and black makes this cane a classy everyday cane or it can be reserved for special occasions. It makes an excellent gift. To make giving easier it comes complete with a gift box. This cane is designed, produced and assembled exclusively by a small family-owned company in Italy.
