The Crook Handle is crafted from Alpacca Silver, which is an alloy of sterling silver with nickel added to increase its strength and prevent excessive tarnishing. The beautiful Alpacca Silver Eagle Head is mounted on a tapered maple wood shaft in ebony stain. Maple wood is known to be hard and durable. It is also the wood of choice used for the production of bowling pins. For enhanced elegance and shine, a clear coat lacquer has been applied to the black shaft. The clear coat also protects and waterproofs the wood.The Crook Cane, otherwise known as a Tourist, Hook or J-Handle, is the most traditional of cane handles. It remains one of the most popular styles as the Crook Handle conveniently hooks over an arm or table edge when not in use. The maximum length is 36", but it can be cut to size. For enhanced safety and durability, this Walking Stick is equipped with a steel reinforced suction grip rubber tip.
