Note that the Nickel-Plated Handle is hollow in order to keep the cane at a comfortable carrying weight. Enjoy the sparkle of nickel without the inconvenience of carrying a heavy cane. The shaft is made of solid Beech Wood. Beech Wood is known to be close and even in texture, hard, fairly strong, and durable. This elegant walking stick has an ebony-stained shaft, which has been lacquered with a clear coat to protect the wood. The maximum length is 37", but it can be cut to size. It is supplied with a Rubber Tip. The unique Car Gear Shift Handle Design makes this cane a great gift for any car enthusiast. The gear shift markings are discreet, and the cane also passes easily for a classic knobbed evening night stick. To make giving easier it comes complete with a gift box.
