This cane has a classic English-style Derby Handle beautifully carved in Maple Wood. For maximum comfort, the handle is specifically contoured to either the right or left hand.
The Derby Cane is the most popular handle shape among the British. Invented by Lord Derby, it can be hooked over the arm when not in use, is extremely comfortable to hold, and has an elegant appearance with more flourish than a crook handle . The Imported Maple Contour Cane is made entirely out of solid Maple Wood and has been buffed to a brilliant red-brown. The metal collar adds an accent. The maximum length is 36", but it can be cut to size. For enhanced safety and durability, this cane is equipped with a steel reinforced suction grip rubber tip.
