This Cane has a Crook Handle. It is entirely made of Solid Hardwood. This cane comes in assorted finishes: Natural, Black, Walnut, and Mahogany. The Crook Cane, otherwise known as a Tourist Hook or J-Handle, is the most traditional of cane handles. It remains one of the most popular styles as the Crook Handleconveniently hooks over an arm or table edge when not in use. The maximum length is 42", but it can be cut to size. For enhanced safety and durability, this Walking Stick is equipped with a steel reinforced suction grip rubber tip.

Flimsy cane, 2.25.2011

I,m 6'3 250 pounds,I received the cane quickly and Cane Mart service was exceptional but the cane is flimsy.It bends easily I can hold out and bend it with my hands and walking with it is a horrible experience.

All 5 stars are deserved by Cane Mart. The cane was exactly as described. The delivery was rocket fast. The communication was great and timely. Outstanding and surprising in all respects...really. OBTW did I mention that the cane was a quality item and the price was most certainly reasonable.

I have used this cane everyday for almost three and a half years. I started out with a light duty cane which I still have but almost never use now. When my problem first started I never felt secure with that cane.
I could not find a good heavy duty cane locally but then I found Cane Mart. it seemed to me that the stores who sold canes locally did so as an afterthought. Something to boost sales slightly. It never seemed to occur to them that some people may need a good solid cane to walk with.
I have purchased several canes from Cane Mart now and they are all of high quality. This particular cane is a very good buy for the money. This one is my daily use cane. there have been many a time when I would lose my balance and this cane absorbed almost my full weight without breaking or even showing any signs of breaking. At one time I weighed over 435 pounds and I am tall too. This cane made me feel more secure in getting around. The best thing about it happened this summer. I used it to go outside and do light chores. I eventually lost 80 pounds by exercise and cutting back on my food intake. This winter I did gain 15 pounds back but I'm planning on losing that this summer with the use of this trusty cane.
I would give this cane 10 stars if I could. I would also give Cane Mart 10 stars also for it's stellar service and it's line of products.
